2010 Implementation & Review

Responsibility for the implementation of the strategic plan resides in the following structure and process:

Overall execution of the plan:

  • Dean, Cowles Library
  • Library Management Council (LMC)
  • Library Faculty Council

Goal 1:

  • Knowledge Base Committee

Goal 2:

  • Learning Committee
  • Library Faculty Council – Curriculum Committee

Goal 3:

  • Cultural Committee

Process:

  • The Library Management Council will conduct an annual status review of the strategic plan – including an annual environmental scan, and an analysis of progress within each of the Goal areas.
  • Each of the major committees (Knowledge, Teaching, and Cultural) will prepare an annual plan – including a list of projects, resource needs, and an assessment of progress.  This will be provided to Library Management Council prior to its annual review.
