A Proposed Furniture Layout for the Lower Commons

Please note:  this is a preliminary drawing.  This preliminary layout was used, along with furniture samples, to solicit input from students regarding the seating options.  You can see some of the reactions on our discussion board.

Mobility is a key component of the Lower Commons plan, so almost all furnishings shown (except for the “power fence” that brings power out to the center of the room) are easy to move and rearrange.
